La APP es un documento digital para el cálculo, en niños pretérminos, de edad corregida (meses) y la edad gestacional(semanas). Tomando referencia 40 semanas (9.2 meses) como nacimiento a término. No se trata de una dispositivo médico,no realiza ninguna manipulación en el diagnóstico o tratamiento.Se ajusta a la legislación de la unión europea sobre documentos digitales relacionados con la salud (mHealth).La finalidad es aportar una herramienta para el cálculo cálculo rápida.Su uso no sustituye el criterio médico ni la relación con el paciente.Va dirigida a profesionales sanitarios.Ha sido diseñada mediante la herramienta APPinventor2. Con el fin de evitar errores, cuando no se introducen los parámetros necesarios la app no proporcionará ningún cálculo.Antes de su publicación ha sido testeada con profesionales sanitarios.Ante cualquier error detectado contactar con el propietario de la aplicación.
